Hi, my name is Rafael Ferreira Silva and this is my blog and personal website.

I'm a web developer with more than 10 years of experience. I developed from small to large sites always using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax and following webstndards.

I'm a experienced PHP developer and since the very beginning of my career I use this language. Python is a programming language I am familiar with.

I worked with many CMS and frameworks. I developed many sites using Plone and Drupal, I created systems using CakePHP and a few other small frameworks, I also studied and created a few small systems with Ruby on Rails.

In 2003 I had my first contact with Drupal and in 2004 I created the Drupal Brasil, which became the world biggest Drupal reference in Portuguese language.

I wrote some articles for Revista TI Digital a IT magazine in Brazil. I lectured at CMS Brasil in 2009 a international event about three CMS: Drupal, Joomla! and Wordpress.

Nowadays I work for a Brazilian Government company as system analyst. I also teach Drupal at Tempo Real Eventos and lecture in some events.
